Wanderkammer est un site de poésie en rhizome. Le lecteur commence en lisant un poème de l'autrice J.R. Carpenter. Certains mots du poèmes sont en vert forêt et en gras alors que les autres sont en noir. Le lecteur clique donc sur un des mots en vert, au choix, ce qui le mène à un autre poème d'un autre auteur. Le lecteur se promène donc dans le site de poème en poème en cliquant sur les hyperliens vert forêt. Certains mots / hyperliens sont vert pâle. Ceux-ci représentent des poèmes que le lecteur a déjà lus.
